Razat Gaurav

Razat Gaurav is the chief executive officer of Planview, joining the company in 2021. Razat has over 25 years of experience in the enterprise software space, with a proven track record of driving innovation-based growth and scaling up technology businesses. He is a trusted advisor to leading executives, boards and investors on topics related to digital transformation initiatives.

At Planview, he has helped develop a mission-driven culture, significantly accelerated product innovations, and anchored the company on both customer and employee success. All this together with thoughtful M&A has led to Planview more than doubling its annual recurring revenue while maintaining a profitable growth trajectory.

Prior to joining Planview, Razat was the CEO of LLamasoft, the leader in AI-based supply chain design and decisioning software, which more than doubled its revenue with an expanded product vision during his tenure. Previously, Razat held leadership positions at Blue Yonder, i2 Technologies, and Ernst & Young’s management consulting practice, and served on the Board of Directors of Sparta Systems and LLamasoft.

Razat was recognized by Goldman Sachs as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2020, and by The Software Report as one of the Top 50 SaaS CEOs in 2023. He actively participates in the CNBC and Wall Street Journal CEO Councils.

He is also engaged in various philanthropic and policy initiatives related to medical research, STEM education across minorities, and efforts to reduce carbon emissions. Razat graduated with honors in engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

Razat is a foodie. He can tell you the best restaurants in most major cities (Austin, Chicago, London, Napa Valley, and New Delhi, at least!). Louise K. Allen

Louise K. AllenChief Product Officer

Louise K. Allen is the chief products officer at Planview, responsible for Planview’s Products organization spanning product strategy, positioning, and roadmaps for Planview’s Portfolio Management and Work Management solutions. She has more than 20 years of experience in strategic product direction with a passion for delivering innovative products and solutions to the marketplace. Louise has been a driving force in Planview’s diversity and inclusion initiative by co-founding the Women@Planview ERG (Employee Resource Group).

Louise joined Planview in 2008 from QuickArrow, where she served as vice president of product strategy and drove the company from self-funded startup to consistently profitable powerhouse. She has also held leadership positions with Tivoli Systems, an IBM company, and NetQoS. Louise has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trinity University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Louise currently lives in Austin and has two amazing kids. True to her tennis background, she enjoys golf, swimming, and working out. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of talent and volunteers her time as a mentor at Ceresa and informally for up-and-coming leaders.

Paul Yaros

Paul YarosChief Customer Officer

Paul Yaros is the chief customer officer at Planview, responsible for the global delivery of our Customer Services organization, including Customer Care, Professional Services, Customer Success & Renewals, and Global Learning.

Paul and his team are continuously improving the overall Planview customer experience: ensuring our team is helping accelerate the customer’s solution adoption journey to enable meaningful value realization, building out our digital success program to provide meaningful on-demand solution content for all customers, launching the Planview Customer Community to foster more customer-to-customer interaction, and expanding education of our customers and partners through the University of Planview.

With over 20 years of experience in tech, Paul joined Planview through the acquisition of Changepoint, where he served as Chief Customer Officer. Prior to Changepoint, he held leadership positions at Model N, the leading provider of cloud revenue management solutions, and Epicor, a global leader of supply chain technology solutions.

Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from Cairn University and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Paul served in many leadership positions in the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, holds his PMP certification, and currently serves on the Technology Services Industry Association’s (TSIA) Customer Success Advisory Board.

Paul lives in Seattle with his husband, where he enjoys hiking through the trails of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, playing tennis, cooking for family, friends, and neighbors, and gardening.

Dr. Mik Kersten

Mik KerstenChief Technology Officer

Dr. Mik Kersten is the chief technology officer at Planview, joining the company in 2022 through the acquisition of Tasktop, where he was Founder and CEO. Mik is the best-selling author of “Project To Product: How to Survive and Thrive in the Age of Digital Disruption with the Flow Framework®“.

Mik’s experiences working with some of the largest digital transformations in the world have led him to focus on bridging the critical gap between business leaders and technologists, resulting in his creation of the Flow Framework® to connect strategy to delivery.

He started his career as a Research Scientist at Xerox PARC, where he built the first aspect-oriented development environment. He then pioneered the integration of development tools with Agile and DevOps workflows while working on his Computer Science PhD at the University of British Columbia. As a developer, Mik wrote over one million lines of open-source code that are still in use today and has brought seven successful open-source and commercial products to market.

Mik is an avid mountain biker and skier, and he used to compete in freestyle skiing at the national level. When not on the slopes, Mik enjoys spending time with his wife and kids (ideally outdoors).

Beth Weeks

Beth WeeksExecutive Vice President, Development

Beth Weeks is the executive vice president of development at Planview. She leads the software development team for Planview’s products that deliver Strategic Portfolio Management, Professional Services Automation, Enterprise Architecture, and Ideation capabilities.

Beth has served in software executive roles for the last 20 years and helped software companies transform their enterprise on-premises products to well-architected Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions. She also has experience building highly productive and collaborative teams, which are globally distributed through North America, EMEA, and India.

Before joining Planview in 2017, Beth was senior vice president of product engineering and cloud operations at WP Engine, leading product development and cloud operations for multiple global data centers hosting more than 500,000 websites. She also has held leadership positions at Zilliant, Vignette (acquired by Open Text), and Intergraph.

Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Kentucky and was inducted into their Hall of Distinction in 2014. She has served on the UK College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council for the last 15 years. Her distinctions include being honored as a Top 25 Profiles in Power & Woman of Influence by the Austin Business Journal.

Beth grew up in Horse Cave, Kentucky, as the only girl in a family of four brothers. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Beth loves playing golf (which she began at 12 years old) and watching all University of Kentucky sports, especially college basketball. Beth and her husband raised their two children in Austin, Texas, and love spending time with their family and grandchild.

Matt Zilli

Matt ZilliPresident, Field Operations

Matt Zilli oversees field operations at Planview, creating alignment, driving growth, and delivering a better customer experience between sales and customer success. Matt has 20 years of customer-focused experience, spanning Sales, Marketing, Support & Services, for hardware and software technology companies.

Matt joined Planview through the acquisition of Clarizen, where he was CEO. Prior to Clarizen, Matt helped Marketo grow from $60 million in revenue through its $4.75B acquisition by Adobe. He served in many roles at Marketo, including Chief Customer Officer, and was Vice President, Sales at Adobe. He has a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

Matt lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Corey, and their sons, Lincoln and Colton. When he isn’t trying to keep up with his kids’ completely overwhelming sports schedule, you can find him on the golf course wondering how his 9-year-old out drove him.

Cameron van Orman

Cameron van OrmanChief Marketing & Strategy Officer and GM, Automotive Solutions

Cameron van Orman is responsible for the development and calibration of Planview’s corporate strategy and driving alignment from strategy to delivery to outcome realization. Cameron is also responsible for all aspects of Planview’s global marketing, digital demand generation, and customer marketing. Cameron has more than 25 years of enterprise leadership experience driving transformational change, business agility, and market growth.

Prior to joining Planview in 2019, Cameron held senior marketing positions at CA Technologies (now Broadcom), where he was instrumental in the integration of Rally into the CA portfolio and championed the internal Agile transformation of the CA marketing organization. Cameron also has served in strategy, marketing, sales, and operations roles at BlueArc, Pillar Data Systems, Sun Microsystems, and StorageTek. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and math from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Cameron is passionate about finding the cure for type 1 diabetes and is vice chairman of the board of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation.

Cameron’s family includes his wife, two daughters, two guinea pigs, and one chinchilla, and most recently, a rescue cat with extreme separation anxiety (but lots of love to give). In his free time, he enjoys skiing, working on his golf game, and watching the Colorado Avalanche (hockey) team.

Jay Nelson

Jay NelsonChief People Officer

Jay Nelson is the chief people officer at Planview. Jay has over 25 years of human resources experience leading HR teams, partnering with business leaders, and developing organizational capability and culture programs across diverse environments in technology, consumer packaged goods, and nonprofit sectors. He is responsible for human resources, organizational development, talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, facilities and culture, and engagement initiatives to create a great place to work for all Planview team members.

Before joining Planview in 2015, Jay was vice president of human resources at Vertafore, a midsize technology company serving the insurance industry. Prior to Vertafore, he held HR leadership roles at the Campbell Soup Company and positions on several nonprofit agencies and boards. Jay has a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Scranton and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego.

Jay lives in the Seattle area with his wife and has two daughters, one a college graduate and the other a high school student. Jay spends his time outside of work traveling with his family, golfing, fishing (he claims he once caught a 154-pound fish!) and practicing his hidden talent: landscaping.

Chris Nester

Chris NesterChief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer, Chris Nester is responsible for all Planview’s financial functions including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, corporate development, revenue operations, and investor relations. Chris also supports the Planview internal IT and information security teams. His career has spanned more than 25 years of financial leadership in software and technology companies.

Prior to joining Planview, Chris served as the CFO of FinThrive, a software company focused on revenue optimization for larger healthcare providers. Chris also served nearly four years as the CFO of Transplace (a former TPG Portfolio Company), a logistics software and managed services company, which was successfully sold to Uber in 2021. Before Transplace, Chris spent nearly 18 years at Sabre serving in a variety of roles and eventually becoming Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer and leading the company’s IPO process in 2014.

Chris holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wichita State University. Chris is also a licensed CPA in Texas. Chris resides in Coppell, Texas, with his wife and two sons. When he’s not at work, you can find Chris watching baseball (go Texas Rangers!) and traveling to Colorado to hike in the Rockies.

Chris Carsen

Chris CarsenChief Legal Officer

Chris Carsen is the chief legal officer at Planview, responsible for managing the legal function globally, including corporate governance, privacy, intellectual property, and litigation. Chris joined Planview in July 2021, bringing more than 25 years of technology and privacy law experience. In addition to heading up all things legal and compliance, Chris is also the Executive Sponsor of Planview’s Employee Resource Groups. Chris’ team at Planview is intensely focused on being the Department of How – being a partner to the business to get things done while strategically minimizing corporate risk.

Prior to joining Planview, Chris founded Carsen Law PLLC, which provided outside general counsel and technology contracting services for clients across the United States, while creating flexible job opportunities for working moms. Previously, Chris was the General Counsel of Corel Corporation (now doing business as Alludo), a private-equity-held global B2B and consumer software company, as well as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Mattersight Corporation (now a part of NICE Ltd.), then a publicly traded SaaS company.

Before going in-house, Chris spent the first half of her career in law firms in Chicago, including as a partner at Winston & Strawn, where she focused exclusively on IT commercial transactions, ecommerce, and privacy law.

Chris is a graduate of Cornell Law School and the University of Iowa, where she graduated with honors with degrees in history and psychology. When she isn’t bringing down the hammer for Planview, Chris devotes her time to raising her three teenagers, playing with her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Bertie, and hitting the trails at the Hill of Life in her hometown of Austin, Texas. Chris’ passions include health and spiritual well-being, travel, and the Oxford comma.

Shalini Sankarshana

Shalini SankarshanaCountry Manager & Managing Director – Inde

Shalini is the managing director for Planview India, joining the company in 2022. An accomplished software product and technology leader with a passion for people, Shalini has built and scaled enterprise platforms and products serving the world’s top financial institutions across the globe for the last 20-plus years.

She has built high-performing teams and strategic capabilities creating intrapreneurship and innovation culture, was a respected member of the Software Product Council for India’s premier industry body NASSCOM, and is a trusted advisor and mentor to industry executives on the product scaling journey. She continues to be a key contributor as an industry leader to the India GCC ecosystem, the Software Product ecosystem, and the start-up ecosystem in India.

Prior to joining Planview, she was involved with Broadridge Financial Solutions since its inception, building up their securities processing business from India in various capacities across strategy, product management, engineering, client onboarding, and professional services, while supporting sales and marketing. She also led their international capital Markets and investment management business teams. At Broadridge Financial Solutions, Shalini led the transformation of their products, platforms, and people as part of her remit while propelling the growth engine. She also specialized in building customer-facing capabilities that helped scale the business significantly.

Shalini is passionate about music and language and is fluent in six languages. She is also an excellent cook of many types of cuisine and enjoys teaching kids. Shalini lives in Bangalore, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Dr. Richard Sonnenblick

Richard SonnenblickChief Data Scientist

Dr. Rich Sonnenblick is the chief data scientist at Planview, joining the company in 2022 through the acquisition of Enrich, where he was CEO and founder.

Rich’s experiences working with some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in the world have enabled him to develop innovative, cloud-based solutions for high-impact, high-risk R&D decision-making. Including modules for prioritization and portfolio review processes, scenario planning, and integrated market, clinical, and financial valuation and forecasting methods, these solutions revolutionized the way drugs and devices are researched, developed, and launched.

Rich oversees the development and implementation of both predictive and generative artificial intelligence features across the Planview platform of products.

He started his career building a decision analysis consulting practice at Lumina Decision Systems, where he worked on integrated assessments of environmental legislation and complex R&D valuation models for high technology firms. Rich holds a PhD and MS from Carnegie Mellon University in Engineering and Public Policy, and a BA in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

When not pondering the future of AI, Rich bikes and runs through the redwood forests of central California.
