Is this really free?
Yes, the 10-in-10 analysis is completely free. There are no hidden costs or obligations. We provide this service because we’re confident in our ability to demonstrate significant value to organizations like yours.
Program Details
What do I need to provide to get started?
You’ll need to:
- Attend a kick-off briefing (approximately 30 minutes)
- Provide access to your development tools and repositories
- Connect Planview Viz to your production environment (we’ll provide free access)
- Have key stakeholders available for the results review meeting
Do I have to be a Planview customer to participate in a 10 in 10?
No! We can get started whether you’re a Planview customer or entirely new to Planview.
What data sources do you analyze?
We typically connect to common development tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, and similar systems. During the kick-off briefing, we’ll discuss which of your specific tools we’ll need to access.
Please note that the use of Jira Cloud is a requirement.
How do you ensure our data is secure?
Planview maintains the highest security standards with SOC 2 Type II certification and ISO 27001 compliance. We sign NDAs as needed and access only the data required for the analysis. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
Does the data leave our environment?
No. We access the data through normal API calls and analysis happens in the Planview Viz cloud environment, which is secured as described above.
Will this analysis disrupt our development teams?
No. The analysis is completely non-intrusive. We collect data passively through our tools and don’t require any changes to your existing processes or additional work from your development teams.

What exactly will I receive after the analysis?
You’ll receive:

While this is rare for organizations with 1,000+ developers, if we don’t identify at least $10 million in potential savings, we’ll provide a detailed analysis of what we did find and recommendations for improvement. Our goal is to deliver value regardless of the specific dollar amount.
