Attach Email to a Work Item
Clarizen’s patent-pending InterAct email engine lets users trigger virtually any action in AdaptiveWork with an email. This App creates an InterAct inbox that allows users to attach the email they send, along with attachments, to a work item.
About This App
Clarizen’s unique InterAct email engine lets you create email inboxes that can be customized to trigger virtually any action within AdaptiveWork. For example, users (even non-AdaptiveWork users) can submit issues to InterAct via email or a form, and the issue will automaticallybe added to the appropriate project, with a notification sent to the project manager.
This App creates an InterAct inbox that allows licensed users to attach the email they send, along with attachments, to a work item.
The format of the email should be [email protected], where “ID” is the work item’s ID or Alias (which can be set from the work item’s view or properties card) and the Domain can be set from the InterAct settings page.
Example 1:
Project ABC has ID “P-123” and your company’s Interact
domain is “acmecorp”
–> you can email [email protected]
Example 2:
Project ABC has ID “P-123” , and has an Alias set as
“ABC”, and your company’s Interact domain is “acmecorp”

Note: organizations on AdaptiveWork EU data center will use clarizenmail.eu email suffix, not clarizenmail.com
